Hell Let Loose: Vietnam — Frequently Asked Questions

The player questions we see most. Jump to the Review for the buying call.

Is Hell Let Loose: Vietnam single-player?

No. It is a pure multiplayer tactical shooter: every match is 50 vs 50 with no campaign. You need an internet connection and a squad mindset — the win comes from holding sectors, not from your kill count.

What platforms is it on?

PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PS4, Xbox One, or Switch version.

Does it have crossplay?

Cross-platform play between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is supported. At launch the PC and console player pools are separate, so there is no PC-to-console crossplay. Server browsers label matches as cross-platform, PC-only, or console-only, and you can pick.

How many players are in a match?

50 vs 50, for 100 players per match, fighting across six large maps in Warfare and Offensive modes.

What is the best first role?

Start as Rifleman — no special mechanics, you can resupply mates, and it is the easiest way to learn the maps. Medic, Support, and Machine Gunner are also new-player friendly. Avoid Sniper, Commander, Officer, and Tank Commander until you know the game (Commander and Officer are also tutorial-locked).

Will my PC run it?

The minimum GPU is an RTX 2060 Super / RX 6600 XT with 16 GB RAM, on Windows 10 64-bit. See the System Requirements page.
